Amazon's Customer Service Identity and Access Management (IAM) teams supports our business with identity and access management solutions while driving resilience against security abuse. They do this though scalable mechanisms, leveraging automation and AI, while protecting our customerβs data and privacy.
The Senior Manager of this program will lead a diverse cross functional team while working with and through partner teams to solve complex identity and authorization challenges across Amazon's global footprint.
Key job responsibilities
Hiring, developing, and mentoring security engineers, software engineers, program managers, and managing the day-to-day activities of the team
Working closely with developers, business leaders, and other security experts to uncover problems and develop the best approaches to solve them
Owning the strategic planning and development roadmaps for the organization
Building cadence and connection with the business and security teams the role supports
Communicating effectively with senior management as well as with colleagues from research teams, software engineering teams, and other technical and business teams
Regular reporting on the status of the security challenges and progress toward solving them
- Bachelor's Degree or similar work experience
- 10+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of management experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 8+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 5+ years of experience executive communication experience
- 5+ years identity and access management experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $187,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $324,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
