In this role, you will be at the forefront of building scientific and analytical solutions that directly impact the customer experience and seller success. You will dive into complex business challenges and deliver high-impact, data-driven insights to drive strategic decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, blending econometrics, data engineering, and AI/ML expertise. You will shape the evolution of POE AI's data infrastructure and fuel the development of LLM and agentic workflow.

Key job responsibilities
Lead a cross-functional team of scientists and engineers to:
Spearhead initiatives transforming data infrastructure to power advanced analytics, generative AI solutions, and foundation model development.
Partner with business teams to deliver econometric analyses and scientific solutions that optimize decision-making processes.
Champion the generative AI transformation by developing AI tools that strike the right balance between automation and human insights.
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or related field.
Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
Strong track record in developing and implementing AI/ML solutions at scale.
Expertise in modern data infrastructure and analytics platforms.
Demonstrated experience with generative AI and foundation models
Strong background in statistical analysis and econometrics
Expertise in Data infrastructure and big data technologies
Experience with ML Ops and production deployment of AI systems

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $208,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $324,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
