Materials Engineering Expert (AI Community)

About the Role: Do you have a background in Materials Science? AI is helping discover new materials for everything from smartphones to medical devices. We need specialists to make sure the AI understands the "stuff" the world is made of. Your expertise ensures that the AI’s suggestions for metals, plastics, and fabrics are realistic.

What You’ll Do (Simple Tasks):

Material Property Check: Verify that the AI correctly identifies properties like strength, heat resistance, and weight for different materials.

Formula Review: Check if the AI is using the correct chemical or physical formulas when describing a material's behavior.

Usage Advice: If the AI suggests a material for a specific job, you make sure it is the right choice for that environment.

Quality Control: Perform checks on technical data to ensure consistency and high scientific standards.

Qualification path

Mandatory Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Engineering, Metallurgy..

Native Language: Native-level proficiency in your primary language to assist with technical documentation.

English Proficiency: Basic (B1) English to communicate findings to our global team.

Visual Accuracy: You are good at reading maps and recognizing shapes and patterns in satellite photos.

Assessment:

In order to be hired into our community, you’ll go through a subject-specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.

Payment:

Currently, pay rates for experts range from $18 - $50 USD per hour
