Job Description

The Data Analyst 1 role on the Customer Lifecycle Analytics team is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to improve decision-making, specifically on how marketing can support our most valuable asset: our customers 

 

The Customer Lifecycle Analytics team strives to serve our customers through thoughtful, targeted and curated marketing experiences, leveraging the depth and breadth of our analytical power to enable customer journeys. We win by providing fast, accurate and actionable insights to drive decision-making in our goal of nurturing our customer base throughout every stage of their lifecycle.  

 

The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, happy to learn new platforms, tools, and experimental methods. This individual should have an interest in digital marketing with some familiarity with the digital media ecosystem. They are a proactive analytical problem-solver who is passionate about data and thrives in using it to story-tell and drive action.  

 

A day in the life… 

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and ideate strategic testing opportunities to improve our marketing experiences for different segments of our customers. 

  • Transform complex data into actionable information, identifying basic patterns and trends to summarize findings and key callouts. 

  •  basic inferential statistics to answer key testing questions for marketing stakeholders.  

  • Develop and present clear solutions and insights to business stakeholders using data 
    visualization tools like Looker or Looker Studio, ensuring documentation is clear and next steps are implementable. 

  • Provide exceptional service by working with stakeholders to build trust and analytical understanding, demonstrating ownership, and proactively tracking and communicating timely results. 

 

You’ve got this if you have: 

  • A degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, business analytics, economics, finance, or similar quantitative analytics discipline. 

  • 1+ years of corporate data analysis experience in marketing analytics. 

  • A solid understanding of SQL and scripting language for data manipulation and extraction. 

  • A working understanding of data visualization tools such as Looker or Looker Studio. 

  • Familiarity with Python and CDPs such as Treasure Data is strongly preferred. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex analytical results to non-experts.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Washington: $75,500-$122,000 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
